Join and become a part of history in the making. The American Gaited Endurance Horse is being developed from some of the world's fastest and best gaited horses. The breed emphasizes gait, forward speed, stamina, conformation, docility, versatility and the innate ability to metabolize oxygen quicker than any other gaited breed. In fact, we encourage the use of a sounding board to clarify gait and heart monitors to track the capability of each individual horse to recoup from fatigue. This will provide riders with a competitive gaited alternative in the sport of endurance riding.
A specific breed standard was created in order to produce the American Gaited Endurance Horse, including the facility to perform an even four-beat gait at a minimum of 10 m.p.h. with clarity. These horses will become known as a gaited athlete with superb speed, endurance, and mentality that anyone can ride and will become every family's "prized possession". Be sure to visit the Registration Information link to see if your horse qualifies for the registry. The Association Registry is currently open and will be qualifying gaited horses of exceptional quality for permanent registration.
